Free-agent WR Darrell Jackson signed a one-year deal with the Denver Broncos on Wednesday.

Jackson has 487 catches and 50 touchdowns in eight seasons, the last with San Francisco. He caught 46 passes and 497 yards with the 49ers last season.

Commentary: Jackson's production dropped off quite a bit when he left Seattle for San Francisco, but no offensive player was outstanding for the 49ers. He's only one season removed from a 10-touchdown campaign in Seattle.

Fantasy Football Impact: With Brandon Marshall's injury this offseason, it's possible Jackson could move into the starting lineup. Marshall injured his arm when he fell into his TV, and is expected to be back for the season. If not, Jackson, playing in a strong passing offense, could be in line for a good season. Considering he's competing with Keary Colbert and Brandon Stokely for playing time, though, he's probably not a smart pick before the final round.
