Washington Redskins quarterback Patrick Ramsey had his best game of the pre-season last weekend versus the Pittsburgh Steelers, as he connected on 12-of-19 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown as the team won for the first time this year. Last week also marked the return of linebacker LaVar Arrington, who played a few series and reported no problems with the knee he had surgery on this past off-season. Coach Joe Gibbs plans on using his starters sparingly in this contest.

The Baltimore Ravens continue to struggle on both sides of the football and coach Brian Billick is stressing the basics: pass protection and tackling. The defense did look a bit better in their 21-6 victory over the New Orleans Saints last time out, but quarterback Kyle Boller continues to struggle in his quest to comprehend Jim Fassel's offense. Boller has thrown only 1 touchdown as opposed to 4 interceptions and is starting to feel the heat from backup Anthony Wright. Wright hasn't thrown a touchdown or a pick, but has looked as though he has a better feel of what's going on out there.
