The Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills are both expected to rest their starters when they face off in their final preseason game tonight. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 PM EST at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

The Lions have struggled thus far in the preseason. They are coming off a 37-13 home whipping against the Rams this past Monday night. Joey Harrington (9-of-18, 106 yards) playing his worst game of the preseason behind a shaky offensive line. Despite the poor offensive showing last week, the Detroit starters are not expected to see much time on Friday night. Safety Kenoy Kennedy will likely be held out due to a bum hamstring.

The Buffalo Bills starting unit has a chance to play beyond the customary one quarter this week, with the inconsistency the team displayed in last Friday's loss to the Bears impacting that scenario. Quarterback J.P. Losman and running back Willis McGahee might see a handful of series tonight, but that's about it. Tight end Tim Euhus will likely be out because of a chest injury.
