Raiders sign LB Hartwell

The Raiders signed veteran linebacker Edgerton Hartwell on Sunday.

Hartwell, a fourth-round pick of the Ravens in 2001, was on Cincinnati's roster in 2007; he has also spent time with Baltimore and Atlanta in his career.

Commentary: Injuries have mostly highlighted the second half of Hartwell's career, but he was an effective player with the Ravens from 2001-04.
