Former steroids dealer commits suicide

According to authorities on Friday, David Jacobs, a man believed to have sold drugs to pro football players, has killed himself. His girlfriend was found dead along with him in the master bedroom of the Jacobs' Plano, Texas, home.

Commentary: The mother of Jacobs' on-again, off-again girlfriend believes that he killed her, too, citing that she feared him. Though the Dallas medical examiner has already ruled Jacobs' shooting death a suicide, no definitive ruling has taken place yet in regard to the woman, Amanda Earhart-Savell.

A .40-caliber Glock was found next to Jacobs, police said.
