The Pittsburgh Steelers continued to roll as they steam rolled the hapless Houston Texans 27-7.

Ben Roethlisberger was nearly perfect, completing 14 of 21 passes for 254 yards and two touchdowns. Young Willie Parker continued to impress as he rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries. Hines Ward had a big day as well catching six passes for 84 yards and two touchdowns. The Pittsburgh Steelers had the game all but wrapped up by half time, taking a 20-0 lead into the locker room.

The Houston Texans offensive woes continued against the stout Pittsburgh defense. David Carr was somewhat effective, throwing for 167 yards and one touchdown on 16 of 26 passing and running for another 46. However, his effort translated into seven points of offense. RB Domanick Davis was bottled up, rushing for only 59 yards on 15 carries.
