The customary sellout crowd that showed up for the Green Bay Packers opener watched the Cleveland Browns stun the Packers with a 26-24 victory at Lambeau field. Cleveland quarterback Trent Dilfer had never beaten Brett Favre until today. Dilfer ended up 21-32 for 336 yards and 3 touchdown passes.

Trent Dilfer hooked up with rookie wide out Braylon Edwards for one touchdown and Steve Heiden caught the other two as the Cleveland Browns offense kept the Green Bay defense off balance all day long.

Brett Favre had a decent game going 32-44 for 343 yards and 3 touchdowns, but 2 interceptions were his undoing. One of those was in the end zone ended a promising drive. Donald Driver was the lone bright spot on offense for the Packers, catching 6 passes for 105 yards and 1 touchdown.
The Green Bay Packers now stand at 0-2 while the Cleveland Browns improve to 1-1.
