Jake Plummer played another error-free game leading the Denver Broncos to their third straight victory in Sunday's 20-7 defeat of the Jacksonville Jaguars in Florida.

Plummer was 19-of-26 for 136 yards and two touchdowns, both of them to backup OT Dwayne Carswell. Plummer now has three touchdowns and no interceptions in his last two games. Mike Anderson reached the century mark for the first time this season, gaining 115 yards on 23 carries. Tatum Bell added another 60 yards on the ground for the Broncos, whose commitment to the running game gave them a 38:05 to 21:55 advantage in time of possession.

The Jacksonville Jaguars got off to a slow start in this game and couldn't seem to figure out the Denver defense. The Jaguars didn't score until the third quarter when QB Byron Leftwich hit Jimmy Smith who then eluded several defenders en route to a 45-yard score. Smith finished the day with 109 yards on 5 catches. Leftwich was sacked twice by Denver, bringing his season total to 13. He was already banged up from some big hits he took from the Jets last week, and needed more protection from his offensive line today. Leftwich threw for 240 yards and a TD in this game. He was also picked off twice.

The Denver Broncos defense made the difference today. They limited the Jacksonville Jaguars to just 12 net rushing yards in the game and neutralized running back Fred Taylor, who was able to gain only 14 yards on 8 carries.
