Let's take a quick look back at week four in the NFL:

The Best Games

Detroit Lions 13 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17
Joey Harrington led the Detroit Lions down deep into Tampa Bay territory with almost no time left, down by four points. He dropped back on 2nd down, and threw what appeared to be a TD to TE Pollard for the game winning score. However, the call on the field was reversed after a review. The Lions were stopped on third and fourth down as well, and the Tampa Buccaneers continued their perfect season.

Seattle Seahawks 17 at Washington Redskins 20 (OT)
The Redskins continue finding ways to win. With a few seconds left on the clock, the Seahawks tried a 47 yard field goal, but it bounced off the upright, sending the game into overtime. The Redskins wasted little time, putting the ball through the uprights to win the game.

Philadelphia Eagles 37 at Kansas City Chiefs 31
Down 17 to 0 in the second quarter, it looked like the injuries had finally gotten to Eagles QB Donovan McNabb. Kansas City's defense looked good too. But, you can't count out McNabb. He led the Eagles to a huge come-from-behind victory over the Chiefs in Arrowhead stadium.

Green Bay Packers 29 at Carolina Panthers 32
Brett Favre gave it his all, but in the end all he could do was watch in dismay as the Panthers ended the Packers final drive. The Packers fall to 0-4, but the good news is they're only one game out of first place for the NFC North. Carolina, who is 2-2, is 2 games out of the division lead for the NFC South.

The Worst Games

San Diego Chargers 41 at New England Patriots 17
What happened? This game was supposed to be an NFL
playoff preview, but I guess not. The Chargers went to New England, and rolled over the Patriots like they were a speed bump.

Indianapolis Colts 31 at Tennessee Titans 10
We were all waiting for the Colts offense to break out, and it finally did. The Titans simply didn't have enough talent to contain Indianapolis's powerful offense, Manning completing 20 of 27 passes for 264 yards and four touch downs.

St. Louis Rams 24 at New York Giants 44
Eli, the other Manning, was also making a mockery of the opposing defense, tearing up the Rams for nearly 300 yards and four touch downs.

New York Jets 3 at Baltimore Ravens 13
Using a third string QB, the Jets were unable to muster any kind of offense against the over-hyped Baltimore defense. The Ravens offense wasn't much better.

Minnesota Vikings 10 at Atlanta Falcons 30
Just when it looked like the Vikings had all gotten on the same page, they play an NFL Super Bowl contender and get blown out. It seems all those predictions of the Vikings in the Super Bowl were nothing more than talk.

San Francisco 49ers 14 at Arizona Cardinals 31 (in Mexico)
The 49ers let Josh McCown throw for almost 400 yards. Josh McCown! He's not exactly Peyton Manning, and letting him put up those kinds of stats has got to be scary for a team that has the Colts coming to town this week.

The Rest

Buffalo Bills 7 at New Orleans Saints 19
Bills QB J.P Losman struggled. Saints RB Deuce McAllister ran all over the place (27 carries for 130 yards) and the Saints won a "home game". The Bills have to find someone who can throw the ball.

Denver Broncos 20 at Jacksonville Jaguars 7
What was expected to be a tight game between these two teams was blown wide open as the Broncos rolled to a 13 point win. Plummer only throwing for 136 yards seems a little low for an NFL QB though.

Houston Texans 10 at Cincinnati Bengals 16
Palmer continued his Pro Bowl caliber year against the Texans, throwing for almost 300 yards and one touchdown as the Bengals took care of the Texans with two field goals in the fourth quarter. It was closer than it should've been.

Dallas Cowboys 13 at Oakland Raiders 19
The Raiders finally committed to the run, and RB LaMont Jordan responded with 126 yards and a TD, but most importantly, the Raiders got their first win of the year. The Cowboys kept things interesting late in the game, but were unable to score from Oakland's five.

Key Injuries:
- Buccaneers rookie RB Carnell Williams has a strained hamstring and a sore foot, which could keep him off the field this week.

- Packers RB Ahman Green suffered a knee injury, but refused to comment after the game.

- Vikings QB Dante Culpepper has been playing with a sprained MCL, limiting his mobility.

- Jets RB Curtis Martin is playing with a knee injury, which may slow him down a bit.

- Rams TE Roland Williams dislocated his knee.

- Cardinals CB Antrel Rolle will miss the rest of the season following knee surgery.

Check back next Wednesday for the week five NFL re-cap.
