Let's go back to nearly two years ago when the whole mess began; the feds and the NFL wanted Michael Vick to talk about the Dog fighting ring that's been going on in Virgina, and what does he know? Instead of telling the truth right away, he plead the 5th. He only plead guilty after his two accomplices turned on him, and told what happened.

As a result, 23 months in prison, and not knowing If he would be back in the NFL.

Now fast forward to Monday, Michael's a free man, and Roger Goddell got back from Vacation. Michael is a born again christian who turned his life around by working at a boys club helping out young men make better decision in his life, and not make the same mistakes he made. Either today, or tomorrow his fate will be decided If he should play in the NFL or not. Let's look at what the options are for Michael Vick base on Roger Goddell's decision.

If he's reinstated with time served, in other words be on a short leash, he'll be quarterbacking again with another. Now the problem will be is that they'll be protesters and rightfully so from PETA, and anyone that loves dogs. Now I myself love dogs and would die for them, but I'm also a forgiving man, and I think the NFL is ready to welcome Michael Vick back with opening.

The teams I think could benefit with Michael Vick and could start right away are the following: Seattle because most of the coaching staff knows Michael Vick and he can turn that franchise around in a heartbeat. Another one is Jacksonville; Jacksonville needs a shot in the arm since they hosted the Super Bowl, and when you're not as famous as the world's largest cocktail party, that's not good. With Michael Vick in Jacksonville, I think he would be a great starter, sell out the Alltel Staduim, and maybe send the Jaguars to the super bowl.

Here's my wild card team that could benefit with Michael Vick on their team; Minnesota Vikings, rather Brett Favre plays or not, people are tired of that, they want a quarterback that will kick start the team, and as young as Michael Vick is, he could be the answer that the Vikings need.

Now what would happen If Roger Goddell says, "Michael, you won't play football for the next year or two." Then here are Michael Vick's option: Option 1 play for the UFL. He's already been drafted by the Orlando franchise as their quarterback, so at least he'll have somewhere to play till December. Option 2 play for the CFL, Graham Hartell is playing football there, hoping that he'll get picked up by an NFL team down the road, and let's not forget about Hall of Famer Warren Moon. Michael Vick can look at this as play Triple A ball like Ricky Williams did. Michael can get a chance to get the rust out of his arm and legs, then after try to find an NFL team that will take a chance with him.

Whatever happens to Michael Vick at the end of the week let's remember one thing, he's done his time, he paid his debt to society, let the man play the game he loved first; football.
