There's no doubt that Brett Favre is going to the NFL's hall of fame when his career is over with, but let's face it, in the last two years it's been one helluva joke. Like an old song goes "Should he stay or should he go" has been the hot topic ever since Brett Favre supposely retired from Green Bay, or to change his mind couple of months later, after the 2008 draft where the Packers drafted two quarterbacks that could be the future of the NFL, if not the Green Bay Packers.

He thought the Packers treated him unfairly, saying he didn't wanna backup to Aaron Rodgers, demanding a trade. Instead of beening traded to Minnesota, he was traded to the Jets, and you would think things went well in New York. Well he hurt his biceps muscle in his arm, and instead of sitting out to let it heal, he played on, and the New York Jets played themselves out of the playoffs.

What's even more disgusting is that Brett Favre pulled a bait and switch on the Jets, and after he got his demand of being released; he called up his friend Coach Brad Childress to see if the Vikings are still interested in him. Of course Childress said yes and now you wonder "What the hell is the point of the Vikings trading with the Texans to get Sage Rosenfels if the Vikings wanted Brett Favre?" The only I can give you is revenge on the Packers, but the funny thing is now Brett Favre is playing the same card he played when he was with the Packers; the "I don't know about my arm, I'm not sure If I wanna play now." If this is how you feel Brett Favre, then why the hell didn't you retire? You may have some unfinished business and that's understandable, but what I don't like is the fact that you've become Roger Clemens w/o the steroids of course, and now you're nothing but a gun for hire.

I hate the fact that Tarvaris Jackson, Sage Rosenfels, and even Josh David Booty playing status as a quarterback is on limbo because Brett Favre can't decide if he should play because of his arm or not. I would love him If he retired two years ago after the lost to the Giants, and yes it would've been nice if the Packers did beat the Giants, and go on to beat the Patriots in Super Bowl 42, he could have retired like John Elway did, "A Winner!" It's not too late Brett to retire with diginty and respect, he's what you do: Bury the hatchet with the Packers, sign a one day contract with the Packers, and retire as a Packer. The fans will love you, you won't be a joke, but instead held high as one of the best quarterbacks, and even I would love you again. But If you still act like a selfish jerk that you are now, then you lose all the remaining respect I have of you.

If Brett Favre does play in Minnesota, he could get his revenge on the Packers, maybe get Minnesota their first super bowl win, and retire in style. If he doesn't play, then maybe the Vikings could be fine with the three quarterbacks they got; but just in case, I heard Michael Vick's available, maybe you should give him and his agent a call.
