Lets say Vick wasn't in trouble. Lets just say he took 2 years off to rest himself. Granted we haven't seen him throw a football (or run with it) in 2 years, he is still very athletic. On a scale of 1-5, how would every team in the AFC use Vick? Great question. Here is your answer.

AFC EAST
1. Buffalo Bills- With Trent Edwards as the starting quarterback and Ryan Fitzpatrick as the second string, Michael Vick could easily take over the starting job if the Bills season begins to slip away early and a certain newly acquired wide receiver starts to complain about this and that. But, with that being said, having T.O. is more than enough negative publicity. Could the Bills handle another? Rating: 2.5/5

2. Miami Dolphins- Pennington, Henne, and rookie Pat White are not going to be over taken at QB by Vick. However, the newly found Wildcat offense would fit him perfectly. He has the cannon and he has the speed. But are the Fins willing to risk signing him? White is similar to Vick in the ability to run with and throw the football. Not to mention he was classy college athlete. Good fit for Vick, but the Fins have too much depth. Sorry Michael. Rating: 2/5

3. New England Patriots- Bad Boy Vick playing under Masterminded Bill Belichick? The thought spins my head around in circles. Brady isn't going nowhere, but what happens if that knee starts acting up again? No offense to Kevin O'Connell, but I don't think he is a Matt Cassel waiting to happen. It could be interesting to see Vick back up Brady though. Plus, the man in the gray sweatshirt on the sideline could be just what Vick needs to jumpstart his career back. Rating: 3/5

4. New York Jets- Even though Kellen Clemens was announced as the training camp starting QB, Mark Sanchez still is the QB of the future. There is no question about that. Although the QB roster is very unproven for Gang Green, there is no room Vick here. Rating: 1/5

AFC South

1. Houston Texans- Matt Shaub is the starter, that is, if he keeps healthy. With the offseason of Rex Grossman, thyat solidifies a backup with experience. People do forget he actually played in a Superbowl, regardless of how good his defense and special teams were. Not really a good place for Michael. Rating: 1/5

2. Indianapolis Colts- No brainer on who is the starter here. Future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning is the face of the franchise. Although it hasn't happened, Manning is in fact human and could deal with an injury at some point in the season. That would leave Jim Sorgi or Curtis Painter to lead the offense. Vick does sound good now, doesn't he? Rating: 3/5

3. Jacksonville Jaguars- This would really make sense. Don't get me wrong now, David Garrard is a solid starter. He is very accurate and doesn't throw many interceptions. But two words make Vick a good fit here. Todd. Bouman. Not a very appealing backup now is it. Rating:4/5

4. Tennesee Titans- Okay, Okay. Kerry Collins isn't exactly what I'd call a fresh set of arms and legs. But many people forget that they were the last undefeated team last year with him at the helm. Vince Young is very similar to Vick with arm strength and agility. Vick isn't going to end up in Nashville. Rating: 1/5

AFC North

1. Baltimore Ravens- Joe Flacco doesn't put up Peyton Manning type numbers, but he knows how to win. Second String QB Troy Smith has been getting good reviews from inside personel ever since last season. Vick would be interesting to see playing against the Steelers twice a year, but its not going to happen. Rating: 1.5/5

2. Cincinnati Bengals- Not at all what the Bengals need. No, I do not mean on the field, but off. The Bengals could be the most legal-problemed team in the history of the NFL. Not to mention twittering phenom Chad John- erm, I mean Chad Ochocinco. Besides, Carson Palmer is stellar when healthy. Rating: 2/5

3. Cleveland Browns- This team has enough QB controversy. Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson can hold down the offense whether its one or the other. Besides, Vick wouldn't do so well in the Dawg-Pound.... Too soon? Rating: 1/5

4. Pittsburgh Steelers- Nobody would think that the returning Superbowl champions need Vick. Well, everybody would be thinking clearly, because they don't need Vick. However, Vick could be a good backup there. I mean, we've seen the WR/QB transformation combo work in the steel city before. Randle El did it. Kordell Stewart did it. Can Vick do it? I can see this working. Making him a third and long option could be an easy way to pick up some first downs. Plus, he would be a step up from backup QB Dennis Dixon. Rating: 3.5/5

AFC West

1. Denver Broncos- Now that Cutler is playing in Chicago, the Mile High Squad is lacking power at the QB position. Belichick offspring Josh McDaniels hasn't seemed too popular with the major players, but I'm sure Vick would listen to everything he has to say. He could bring some firepower back to Denver, but I don't think McDaniels could handle that kind of attention right about now. Rating: 2.5/5

2. Kansas City Chiefs- After signing Matt Cassel to a major contract, that pretty much locks up his starting job. Croyle is a decent backup. Vick would most certainly be an upgrade though. Decent fit, I suppose. Rating: 3.5/5

3. Oakland Raiders- If I were Vick, I'd refuse a contract offer from Al Davis and the Silver and Black. But, I'm not him. Russel and Garcia will battle it out, and the one who loses will be a backup that can fill in without stress. Although Al Davis loves speed, (cough cough Heyward Bey), there is no home for Vick here. Rating: 1/5

4. San Diego Chargers- Philip Rivers has been solid running the Chargers offense. However, many forget about Volek. He was throwing for 400+ yards when he was a starter. Vick wouldn't even see the field in San Diego. Rating: 1/5

NFC teams to be coming soon.
