Trent Dilfer threw two scoring strikes to wide receiver Antonio Bryant in the final three minutes of the fourth quarter to lead the Cleveland Browns past the lackluster Chicago Bears 20-10.

Trailing by a score of 10-6 with just over 5 minutes left to play in regulation, the Browns got the ball on their own 46 after Chicago's Brad Maynard managed a punt of just 36 yards. Five plays later, Dilfer connected with Bryant on a 33-yard pass to put the Browns ahead 13-10.

After a Kyle Orton fumble was recovered by safety Chris Crocker, the Cleveland Browns took over from the Chicago 29. It took Dilfer and Bryant just 7 seconds to hook up again and put the game away for Cleveland.

Dilfer completed 23 out of 34 passes on the day for 218 yards, and was also picked off twice. Bryant finished the day with 6 catches for 83 yards. Running back Rueben Droughns gained 72 yards on 17 carries to lead the Browns.

Orton looked ineffective most of the day and his costly mistakes in this game have left many wondering how long head coach Lovie Smith will stick with the rookie QB. Orton completed just 16 passes for 117 yards and one touchdown, and clearly had trouble moving the offense.

Chicago Bears RB Thomas Jones led all rushers with 137 yards on 24 carries before leaving in the fourth quarter with an injury.
