Sorry I ran out of time and not finishing the column, I will finish what I started in just a bit. Before hand I did see a comment about Ray Lewis as the franchise player for the Baltimore Ravens, and I would agree with that. The only reason I picked Joe Flacco was because he took the Ravens to the AFC Championship game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and lost. Not too bad for a rookie quarterback who can only get better in time. So here we go with part 2 of the best franchise person of the respective NFL teams.

AFC West:
Denver Broncos- No doubt it's John Elway who took the Broncos to 5 super bowls, and winning 2 of them. The only thing I didn't like about John Elway was the way he carried on about being drafted by the Baltimore Colts in the 1983 NFL Draft. Had he not been traded to Denver, the entire NFL History would be different(But that's for another time)
Kansas City Chiefs; Len Dawson because he took the Chiefs to the only two Super Bowl in history, and won in Super Bowl 4. He's also an icon in Kansas City, besides George Brett.
Oakland Raiders; The only man that comes to my mind is the man that invented the Black and Silver; Al Davis the owner of the Oakland/LA Raiders.
San Diego Chargers; It actually came down to four men, but in the end I chose a man whose a future hall of famer; RB LaDamian Tomilison aka Little LT.

NFC East:
Dallas Cowboys; Lotta men came and go from the Dallas Cowboys, but the one man that sticks out, and rule with an iron fist is Jerry Jones.
NY Giants; Another tough one to call, but I think it's better to give it to a man whose one of the best linebacker in the NFL history; Lawerence Taylor aka LT
Philadelphia Eagles; The only one that I can think of that has been with the Eagles since day one is Donovan McNabb.
Washington Redskins; Lot of names have run in my mind for this selection, but I real throw in a combo that was deadly in the 83 and 84 NFL season; Joe Thesiman to Art Monk. (Yes you can pick a combo as your franchise)

NFC North:
Chicago Bears; One of the greatest running backs, but never got into the end zone in Super Bowl 20 and died 10 yrs ago while waiting for a liver transplant; The late Walter Payton.
Detroit Lions; He also one of the greatest running back of our time, but I was upset when he retired in 1999, which I thought was too soon;
This man is Barry Sanders.
Green Bay Packers: I would have picked this man, but I don't like the way he acted like a baby for the last two years, so I'm going with a man who was the toughest, yet most respective coach in the NFL; Vince Lombardi, the man who won the first two Super Bowls, and have the trophy named after him.
Minnesota Vikings: This was a tough one here, the only thing that stuck out in my mind was WR Anthony Carter.

NFC South:
Atlanta Falcons: This man owns Home Depot, and the owner of the Falcons; Arthur Banks.
Carolina Panthers: He's been with the Panthers since the inaugural season, and it's only fitting to get this tag; John Kasay.
New Orleans Saints: I really had a hard time thinking of a franchise player for the Saints, especially when I narrow it to two men. In the end I chose WR Joe Horn.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: This man was either a fullback, or a running back. Whatever he was he did it all for the Buccaners; Joe Alscott.

NFC West:
Arizona Cardinals: This was a hard decision to make, but I think this receiver is the future, and franchise of the Cardinals if he sticks around; WR Joe Fitzgerald.
San Francisco 49ers: I could have gone in many direction from a great head coach, to one of the best QB's ever. Instead I'm doing another combo deal that was effective in the 49ers super bowl reign; Joe Montana to Jerry Rice.
St. Louis Rams: This one I have to dig deep and hard because I couldn't think of a franchise person in the Rams organization until I thought back in time when the Rams was in Los Angeles. There were three burly, hungry, intimidating men on the Rams' defensive line. Those men were Deacon Jones, Merle Olsen, and Jack Youngblood.
Seattle Seahawks: This one was a piece of cake! A hall of famer WR who stayed in Seattle till retirement, and last I heard is a U.S. House of Rep in the state of Oklahoma; Steve Largent.

Those were the men I picked, If you have any that you thought should be there, feel free to comment.
