Week 1 power rankings are out and it is obvious who is at the top, but it is the middle of the pack that is making things interesting. The top 3 teams make you say "duh" going Pittsburgh, New England and then the Giants. San Diego, Indy, Tennessee, Atlanta, Minnesota, and Baltimore round out the top 10. The next tier is where it gets juicy.

Just missing that top echelon of teams to start the season are the Chicago Bears, and the biggest jump so far the Packers. The Bears, with the outburst of enthusiasm from Jay Cutler moved up two spots from 13. The Packers, looking to enjoy another "breakout" season from the still developing Aaron Rodgers made the biggest move in the rankings from 17 to 12. The biggest drops in rank belong to the Panthers (11 to 14), Cowboys (14 to 17), and Texans (16 to 19).
