When did quarterbacks become untouchable?

I may not have watched the entire Patriots/Ravens game on Sunday, but I sid see the highlight where Tom Brady got tackled, and Brady asked the ref why he didn't throw a flag. Well the ref did after the fact, and Ray Lewis and the Ravens rightfully got angry for that flag. I wish the ref had threw the flag because Tom Brady turned in his man card, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

Its apparent since Tom Brady had a season ending knee injury last year the NFL wants to protect the quarterback at all cost since the quarterback is the field general. Well I think the NFL has become a wussy league; first it's building dome and retractable roof stadiums so the fans, and the players won't freeze their ass off, or get rained on; and now the quarterbacks are being classified as the untouchables.

It's too bad that my high school didn't have a football team because if they did, I would have been one helluva defensive lineman barrelling down my way to plant the quarterback into the grass. Hey it not personal, just business; I would've left a mark on the field that you would have to use a crime scene chalk to draw where the quarterback was. My business would've been sacking quarterbacks, and baby business would have been good.

Nowadays since Tom Brady got hurt, the NFL wants to make sure that the quarterbacks are protected. They are, but only on practice field when they wear the red "Don't touch me" jersey. Here's my message to the boneheads at the NFL; What's next! Put flags on the quarterbacks so the defense can simply whip the flag off, or touch them and blow the whistle? Last I checked this is the NFL, not the NFFL, or the NTFL(in case you don't know what that means, it means National Touch Football League).

I think Rodney Harrison said it best on Monday, and the reason I laugh is because he's a former Patriot and former teammate of Tom Brady. He said "Take off the skirt, and put the pants back on." I couldn't said it better myself, except let me add in "Quit shaving your legs."
