OK folks, I’ve been slumping and struggling with my free picks in this space the last 2-3 weeks, so perhaps your best bet would be to bet against whatever I pick. That’s up to you. I will offer you a few stats and trends that may or (most likely) may not have any impact on tonight’s game. Since 1992, 6 of 7 games between Denver and Pittsburgh have gone over the total. In that same timeframe, Pittsburgh is 18-11 against the spread on Monday Night Football. This season, the Steelers are 2-5 against the spread while the Broncos are 6-1 vs. the number and 6 of Denver’s 7 games this season have stayed under the total.

Of course, none of that stuff really matters. I’m taking Pittsburgh -3 just on a gut feel. I don’t love laying points on the road on a Monday Night against a decent team like Denver. But the Broncos got smacked around in a very physical game at Baltimore while the Steelers were resting on a bye week. That could be the difference tonight. Take Pittsburgh.
