Miami +3 at CAROLINA
I know that Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown is out, but Ricky Williams is more than capable of carrying the load. Pat White could pick up some of Brown’s wildcat snaps, and he is a legitimate passing threat (who also happens to have blazing speed if he keeps it). The Dolphins are well coached, and their losses have come against Indy, New Orleans, San Diego, and New England. On the other side of the ball, the Panthers have some injuries of their own. RB depth will be a problem, as Brad Hoover and Jonathan Stewart are both likely out. They also lost offensive lineman Jordan Gross last week. That means there could be pressure on Jake Delhomme, who’s been known to throw out more picks than Eddie Van Halen. Carolina is also a little banged up on defense. I see a bit of a coming out party for Pat White, and a Dolphins team stepping up in the absence of Ronnie Brown. Take the points, and consider playing the moneyline as Miami will likely win this game outright.
