Bills vs. Jets (at Toronto)

Yikes, lots of stinker games on Thursday nights this year and last. I’m pretty sure wagering is the only way to keep this one interesting. I have little-to-no strong opinions on either side of this one against the spread. The line opened at New York -1 and has moved up to -3, so it seems people are betting on the Jets. The over/under total is 37. Not sure I trust either of these teams because we’re never sure which version of them will show up. Both teams have been hard to pin down... I thought Buffalo would get beat pretty handily by Miami and I was wrong. Then again, I figured the Bills would lose but cover the point spread at Jacksonville the week before and I was right.

I think the OVER might be the best bet. Ryan Fitzpatrick has been a bit of a spark at QB, he had a 31-yeard TD run and a 50-yard TD pass last week. Mark Sanchez is bound to have a decent game at some point, or he could throw enough picks that one goes the other way for 6. Both teams have some injuries on defense, so there could be slightly more scoring than expected. 21-17; 24-14; 23-16. None of those look like crazy high-scoring games, but they all go over the total of 37. Take the OVER, and good luck.
