After week 15 of the NFL season, three things that I notice from three different games that I thought I would bring to an attention. These observation had a impact in a way that week 15 was carry out.
First was the Titans/Dolphins game in Nashville; I thought it was interested that Jeff Fisher didn't call a timeout under a minute to go in regulation when the Dolphins got to the 6 yrd line. Coach Fisher decide to settle it in overtime, instead of forcing a three and out, and getting his offense back in the game under 60 seconds left. That concern deepened me when the Dolphins won the toss, everyone knows that it's sudden death, and more likely who ever wins the coin toss has a great chance of winning the game on their first possession. Thankfully the gamble work when Chad Henne threw an interception pass, and thanks to a boneheaded move by #83, the Titans went from starting at the Dolphins 42yrd line, to the Dolphins 27 yard line. Titans won with a 47 yrd field goal to win the game, and had that personal foul hadn't occur, the Titans would have punted the ball back to the Dolphins, and will never know If the Dolphins would have scored on their next possession or not. Also the Dolphins would have been in a 3 way tie for the 5th and 6th seed with an 8-6 record, and one game down in the AFC East Division battle.
Observation #2: NBC dropped the ball on the Sunday Night Football game. It had a chance to flex their schedule and bumped the Vikings/Panthers game to either a 1 o'clock or a 4 o'clock start time, and give the viewers the Bengals/Chargers game. But being that it's Brett Favre, NBC had to kiss his ass, and showed the game where everyone thought the VIkings would beat the Panthers. I had to laugh my ass off when the Panthers beat the VIkings while meanwhile about 3 hours earlier the Chargers/Benglas game came down to game winning field goal as time expire for the Chargers to win the game. Bet the NBC viewers wished they could've shown that game in stead huh?
Observation #3 was the game between the Vikings and the Panthers. When Coach Brad Childress told Brett to take a seat in the fourth quarter when the Vikings were leading 7-6, Brett responded by let Brad Childress know he was all that and a bag of nuts, Coach Chlidress was the one that wanted him to come to Minnesota, and that he's the reason why the Vikings are 11-2, whoops they're now 11-3 now(Nice Brett, real nice!. Well NBC you wanted to show Favre and the Vikings, you got your wish by showing all america what a jerk, premadonna, diva Brett Favre. Let's face it If I acted like that at my workplace saying the crap Brett Favre, my boss would show me the door, and fire my ass then; Nice way to set an example Brett Favre, are you now telling the kids it's okay to talk back to you coaches, and parents? Time for some damage control, and as for Coach Brad Childress, If you lose your job for standing up to Brett Favre, then the Vikings Organzaation are totally stupid.
Well that's my observation for week 15, two more weeks till the playoffs, and I can't wait.
