Well the playoff matchups are set, so since there’s no Monday Night game this week, let’s take a look back at some interesting NFL team records against the spread and get an early glimpse at the wildcard playoff point spreads.

As bad as Cleveland was, they were actually 10-6 against the spread. As good as Indianapolis was, they were only 3-5 against the spread at home. But overall they were still a pretty solid 10-6 (including 9-5 as a favorite) against the spread. Interestingly, AFC North Division winner Cincinnati was just 3-5 against the spread at home and 0-7 ATS as a favorite!

Both New England and Dallas had 10 of their 16 games stay UNDER the total. Both San Diego and Philadelphia had 10 of their 16 games go OVER the total.

Just some interesting numbers to keep in mind as the playoffs get under way next week. Speaking of which, here are the early lines and totals for opening round:

NY Jets +3 at Cincy. Over/under 34.
Philly +3.5 at Dallas. Over/under 45.
Baltimore +4 at NE. Over/under 43.
Green Bay +3 at Arizona. Over/under 48.
