It’s time to give you some free NFL picks against the spread for wildcard weekend of the NFL playoffs. These free picks are listed in the order they'll be played and of course are what I think are some of the best bets. These free picks are against the most current point spreads as of Saturday morning.

I finished the regular season 65-48, which is pretty good, but well off the blazing pace I'd set over the first several weeks. I guess if picking games and gambling was easy we'd all be rich. Let's see if we cant bounce back a bit and give you some good free picks against the point spread. The NFL playoffs are here and it's the most wonderful time of the year.

Cincinnati -2.5 vs. NY Jets
A lot of people are excited about riding the Jets. Sure they have a good defense and running game, two important element to playoff success. But keep in mind this is a passing league and teams need to make big plays. While the Bengals offense has been stale the last few weeks, Carson Palmer is capable of making big plays. I don't think I can say the same about Mark Sanchez on the road against a good defense that has been listening all week to how great the Jets defense is. Take Cincy at home giving less than 3 points.

Philadelphia +4 at Dallas
I picked the Eagles to win in Dallas last week and they got killed. It's possible that could happen again as obviously the Cowboys match up well against Philly and are playing great right now. But I also think that even if the Cowboys manage to get their first playoff win since 1996, it will be close game. The pressure is on Dallas to finally win in the playoffs and the Eagles are a good road team that's been in a lot of playoff games the last several years. Take Philly and the points.

Baltimore at New England, OVER 43
I'm tempted to pick the Ravens if the line is more than 3, but I think the safer bet is for the total points to go over 43. Both teams have vulnerabilities on defense that will be exploited by the likes of Tom Brady on one side and Ray Rice on the other. This could be a 35-28 kinda game, but even a closer game that's not really a shootout could certainly end up 21-21 with a winning field goal pushing it over the total.

Green Bay +1 at Arizona
The Packers are a better and more consistent football team. Aaron Rogers is having a great year and the defense is excellent. Home teams are only just over 50% in the first round so it's very likely that at least one team will lose at home this weekend. That team will be the Cardinals. In fact, instead of taking the 1 point (and risking $110 to win $100), play the Packers money line so you can risk $100 to win $110. Either way, take the Pack.

Last week: 2-2
Season: 65-48-2
