Can't wait for tomorrow! two conference title games will decide who will go to the Super Bowl, and who will be sitting on the playoff couch with the other 28 teams that's not in. Who do I think will win tomorrow? Let's find out!
First game is for the AFC Title Jets at Indianapolis, not the first time the Colts have hosted the AFC title game in Indianapolis, but it's the first time in their 2 year old stadium Lucas Oil Field. This is a rematch from a month ago, and some are saying the Colts should have kept their starters in to prevent the Jets from being in the playoffs. I love this matchup between the two, and I think that even though the Colts will have their starters in, they're going to pay the price for Week 16, and The Jets will win by a field goal 27-24 to go to the Super Bowl for the second time in the franchise's history, and back to the same place they won their first Super Bowl. As I mentioned in my article about this game is a mirror image of Super Bowl 3, it's true because the Colts are favor to win by 7, just like they were heavy favorites in Super Bowl 3. In the NFC Title game between the Vikings at New Orleans, it's the battle of the best two teams in the NFC. Both teams took advantage in the bye period to get ready for their opponets. I mentioned that the Saints need to wake the hell up, or they would lose to the Cardinals. They woke up alright, slaughtering the Cardinals 45-14 to host their first NFC Title game in franchise's history. The way I see this game is that the Vikings are terrible on the road, however Brett Favre is great playing indoors, so this should make it an interesting match. The Saints are on fire and favorite to win, so the way I see it, the Saints will be marching in Miami in their victory over the Vikings 34-21.
Me personally, I would like to see the Jets/Vikings Super Bowl in Miami because of the way Brett Favre used the Jets as a stepping stone to play for the Vikings by shutting himself down in the later run of last season, and playing the retirement card so he could get out of New York, and later come back to the NFL as a Vikings. I'm sure the Jets's defenders would love to plant Brett Favre 6ft under at Landshark Stadium in Super Bowl 44.
