Coming into this week's contest the Baltimore Ravens were 31st in the league in the takeaway/giveaway department. On Sunday, they forced three Cleveland turnovers to jump out to a 16-0 halftime lead and coasted to a 16-3 victory over the Cleveland Browns in an AFC North match-up.

Led by linebacker Ray Lewis' fumble recovery and interception, the Ravens limited Cleveland to 217 total net yards, 147 through the air and 70 on the ground. Browns quarterback Trent Dilfer struggled mightily against the swarming Ravens defensive pressure. Returning to Baltimore as a starter for the first time since his departure after the 2001 Super Bowl title, Dilfer fumbled the snap on Cleveland's first offensive play. The turnover would set up the Ravens only touchdown of the afternoon, a three yard touchdown pass from Anthony Wright to Todd Heap.

Baltimore Ravens QB Anthony Wright went 23-of-31 for 213 yards and the one touchdown to Heap. Baltimore also put together a strong running game as Chester Taylor ran for 92 yards and Jamal Lewis another 59 on the ground.

For the Cleveland Browns, Reuben Droughns gained 55 yards on the ground while wide-receiver Dennis Northcutt caught four passes for 60 yards. QB Dilfer, sacked four times in the game, also lost a fumble that led to a Ravens field goal right before halftime.

Both teams are now 2-3 on the season.
