San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson is known as a guy who can outrun defenders and also catch passes out of the backfield, but he is now adding new weapons to his arsenal. Earlier this year, he tossed a 26-yard scoring pass against the New York Giants, and added another one on Sunday, a four-yarder today against Oakland.

He also scored a touchdown on the ground, and one receiving, to lead the Chargers over the Oakland Raiders 27-14. In the process, he also tied Hall-of-Fame running back Lenny Moore's NFL record of scoring in 18 consecutive games. He finished with 140 yards on 31 carries, and added two receptions for 39 yards.

The Oakland Raiders lost more than just a game to their heated rival, as they may have also lost All-Pro wide receiver Randy Moss for an extended period of time. He was forced to leave the game in the first quarter after landing hard on the ground after attempting to catch a long pass. He tried to return to the game, but was unable to, and finished with no catches.

The Oakland offense struggled without their big play threat, as Kerry Collins completed 24-of-48 passes for 292 yards, but no touchdowns. Running back LaMont Jordan scored on two short runs, but only carried 12 times for 36 yards. Doug Gabriel led the Raiders receivers with five catches for 84 yards.

For the San Diego Chargers, quarterback Drew Brees also threw a touchdown toss, and went 14-of-20 for 164 yards.
