First off congratulations to New York for pulling off the biggest upset by winning a bid to host Super Bowl 48 in 2014. I have to say it's been a long time since a Super Bowl was held in a place where the thing to drink won't be beer, but either hot cocca, or coffee to keep from freezing your ass off.
Now last night while listening to "The Monty Show" on sporting news radio hearing him how it would be nice If the Giants and the Colts would meet at Super Bowl 48 would be a dream come true. Well to me here's what would be my best case scenario for Super Bowl 48; Having the Giants and the Jets aquare off at Super Bowl 48. Now picture it; Mark Sanchez in his rookie year taking the Jets to the AFC Title game and almost taking that trip to the Super Bowl, would be back stronger than ever thanks to La Damian Tomlison in the backfield. I don't see why the Jets can't make it to the Super Bowl at least once before Super Bowl 48.
Best Case would be you have The New Meadowlands sold out w the Jets on one side, and the Giants on the other side. The worst case scenario would be the halftime show; have the famed Rocketters freezing their butts off, plus a possibility that it could be an ugly weather of either a blizzard, sleet, or snow. Besides I thought the Jets were suppose to build a domed or retractable roof stadium of their own so they can host the super bowl, what happened to those plans?
Bottom Line is that in the end most people will watch the Super Bowl to see what kind of commericals will be aired. Depending on how the game goes, well that's up to mother nature, but whatever happens the NFL are going to be the big winner, and the fans are going to be the biggest loser.
