The question has been, which will happen first, will the Indianapolis Colt lose or will The Houston Texans win? Neither seems likely to happen this Sunday as the 6-0 Colts travel to the Houston for a 1:00 showdown with the 0-5 Texans at Reliant Stadium.

The Indianapolis Colts will be looking to secure the first 7-0 start in franchise history. Propelled to their first 6-0 mark in 47 years by a surprising defense, Indianapolis has established itself as the NFL's elite team for 2005. Although defense seems to be the Colts' calling card so far this year, the team is still led by Peyton Manning, who along with Marvin Harrison set an NFL mark for touchdowns by a quarterback/receiver combination. With Edgerrin James behind him and a trio of talented receivers, the offense is a sleeping dog just waiting for a team like the Texans to wake them up. Last season, in two meetings, the Colts put 618 yards and 7 touchdown passes on Houston. Indy's defense is vastly improved and anchored by a pair of pass rushing ends in Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney, who will be looking to tee off on David Carr all afternoon.

The Houston Texans have been headed in the opposite direction all season. They are off to their worst start in team history. They have been outscored thus far on the season 141-54 in only five games. As if it isn't tough enough on the Texans to have to host the Colts this weekend, they will likely be without as many as five starters Sunday. Injured are starting inside linebacker, Kailee Wong, wide receiver Andre Johnson, defensive end Gary Walker, guard Zach Wiegers, and strong safety C.C. Brown. Quarterback David Carr was sacked three times by the Seahawks last weekend, and things are not likely to get any easier for the young gunslinger.

Watch for the Colts to get out early against a week and injured Texans defense. Indianapolis will look to tee off on Carr as Houston will likely be forced to throw the ball just to keep pace.
