The Cincinnati Bengals entered today's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers believing that they've finally put a team together that could knock their rivals off their throne atop the NFC North; not yet fellas.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who was forced to miss last week's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars with an injury, looked in command in his return. He connected on two touchdown passes, going 9-of-14 for 93 yards. But, it was the running game that battered and bruised Cincinnati on this day.

The trio of Willie Parker, Jerome Bettis, and Vernon Hayes combined for 222 yards. Parker the ringleader with 131 on 18 attempts, plus a third quarter touchdown that put the Steelers up 17-6. After Roethlisberger capped off a ten play, 60-yard drive with a four-yard toss to Hines Ward on their next possession, Pittsburgh rolled to a 27-13 win in an unusually hostile environment.

Pittsburgh is accustomed to having more fans in the stands of Paul Brown Stadium that the hometown Bengals, but with Cincinnati fielding it's best team in 15 years, it wasn't the case today.

Cincinnati Bengals signal-caller Carson Palmer, who entered the game as the league's top-rated quarterback, was intercepted twice by a physical Pittsburgh defense, in route to a 21-of-36 day through the air for 227 yards. All-Pro wide receiver Chad Johnson caught four passes for 94 yards, as Cincinnati fell to 5-2, but still hold a half-game edge on the 4-2 Steelers in the division.
