Backup safety Jordan Babineaux picked off a Drew Bledsoe pass near midfield and returned it 25 yards to give the Seahawks a chance to win the game. Kicker Josh Brown drilled a 50-yard field goal on first down with 5 seconds left in regulation to lift Seattle to victory. The Seattle Seahawks improve to 5-2 on the season, while the Dallas Cowboys fall to 4-3.

The Dallas defense did a remarkable job of containing the potent Seattle offensive attack led by running back Shaun Alexander and quarterback Matt Hasselbeck for most of the game. But with 2:06 left in fourth quarter, Hasselbeck engineered a 6-play 81-yard drive that ended with a 1-yard TD pass to tight end Ryan Hannam to tie the game at 10-10.

The Dallas Cowboys got a 39-yard return from Tyson Thompson on the ensuing kickoff and started a potential game-winning drive from their own 41 with 0:40 remaining in the game. Bledsoe completed two passes to Terry Glenn, and was looking Glenn's way again when he was intercepted by Babineaux.

Bledsoe finished the day 13-of-24 for 136 yards and one TD. He also threw two interceptions. Running back Julius Jones missed his second straight game with an ankle injury. Marion Barber III started in his place and rushed the ball 22 times for 95 yards. Thompson also chipped in 34 yards on 6 attempts. Wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson caught 4 passes for 28 yards, including a 5-yard TD in the first quarter.

A week after scoring four touchdowns in Seattle's victory over Houston, Shaun Alexander was held to just 61 yards on 21 carries. The Seattle Seahawks' receiving corps was also shut down for most of the game. Joe Jurevicius had 6 receptions for 54 yards and tight end Jerramy Stevens caught 5 passes for 60 yards.

Next up: The Cowboys will host the Arizona Cardinals. The Seahawks have their bye, and won't play again until 11/6 when they visit the Cardinals.
