Let's take a quick look back at week 7 in the NFL.

The Best:

Denver Broncos 23 at New York Giants 24
Ladies and gentleman: Eli Manning has arrived. For the second time in as many weeks Eli brought his team back on the final drive of the fourth quarter, only this time for the win. Down 23-10 with ten minutes left in the fourth quarter, the Giants mustered two touchdown drives. The first one was capped off with a four yard run by Tiki Barber, and the second one was a touchdown pass from Manning to Toomer with five seconds remaining. Now the question is: which Manning will be the first one to win a big game?

Dallas Cowboys 10 at Seattle Seahawks 13
With the game tied the Cowboys were moving the ball around midfield with 14 seconds left. We all know what comes next - overtime. Not so fast. You have to remember, Drew Bledsoe is playing quarterback. He tosses up the ball - and it's picked off by CB Jordan Babineaux, who returned the ball to Dallas's 32, leading to a field goal to win the game with no time left on the clock. Dallas dominated the game for 57 minutes, but in those last three minutes, Seattle scored their first touchdown of the game and the game-winning field goal. It takes 60 minutes to win a game - you'd figure the Cowboys would've learned that by now.

San Diego Chargers 17 at Philadelphia Eagles 20
What a finish. The Eagles offense didn't look that great, and LaDainian Tomlinson looked like Ricky Williams - post "healing classes". The Eagles lead 7-0 at the end of the first half, but the Chargers stormed back, not giving the Eagles anything - until the end of the game. San Diego played it safe with just under 4 minutes remaining, sending LaDainian Tomlinson - who was held for a career-low 7 yards - up the middle three times and then attempting a field-goal. One problem - the field goal was blocked, returned for a touchdown, and the Eagles win. Another game where playing it safe ended up in a loss.

Green Bay Packers 20 at Minnesota Vikings 23
Who would've thought the Vikings had it in them? Favre was already thinking about winning the coin toss and leading yet another game-winning drive for the Packers, when Vikings kicker Paul Edinger kicked a miraculous 56 yard long field goal to win the game. Green Bay took control early, leading the game 17-0 at halftime, but were only able to get a field goal in the second half, and the Vikings made them pay. What's even sadder is the fact that Minnesota, with only two wins, still has a shot at winning their division. So does Green Bay, with only one win.

The Worst:

Tennessee Titans 10 at Arizona Cardinals 20
A mistake-filled game, although looking at the teams playing that should have been evident. Cardinals QB McCown had an off day, going 12-28 for 140 yards and an interception and a touchdown. However, he made his best throw when it mattered, throwing a 34 yard TD to Larry Fitzgerald for the 10 point lead. The Titans were unable to comeback, and the Cardinals held on for their second victory of the season.

New York Jets 14 at Atlanta Falcons 27
It was a miserable game by both Jets QB Vinny Testaverde and Falcons QB Michael Vick. Testaverde fumbled three times in the first half, which lead to two Atlanta touchdowns, and a lead they would never relinquish. Vick didn't play much better, throwing three interceptions on the way to the worst passer rating in his career. Testaverde left the game due to injury, and his replacement (Bollinger) was unable to rally the Jets.

Buffalo Bills 17 at Oakland Raiders 38
Oakland RB Lamont Jordan asked to carry the load on Sunday, and carry the load he did. He ran for an impressive 122 yards and a career high 3 touchdowns in route to a blow-out over the Bills. Buffalo scored first on a five yard pass from Holcomb to Evans, but after that it was all Oakland. The Raiders put up 17 points in the second quarter and another 14 in the fourth to seal the victory over the hapless Bills.

San Francisco 49ers 17 at Washington Redskins 52
The 49ers were annihilated - not that that's a surprise or anything - but come on guys, at least act like an NFL team. It's not like you can say Washington ran up the score either - 4 of their touchdowns were runs, and both their second-half touchdowns were runs. The Redskins put up 21 points in the second quarter, and that was all she wrote. Not bad for a team that is used to winning in the final two minutes of a game.

Indianapolis Colts 38 at Houston Texans 20
Not much of a surprise here, an unbeaten team versus a winless team, what did you expect to happen? There was no miracle, as the Colts controlled most of the game, despite a little bit of a scare as at the end of the first half it was tied at 14. However, the Colts scored 24 points in the second half, and limited the Texans to 6 more for the easy victory.

The Rest

Baltimore Ravens 6 at Chicago Bears 10
The Bears didn't allow a touchdown (although when you're playing Baltimore, that's not saying a lot) and put up ten points for the victory over the Ravens. It was a defensive struggle, the Bears pitting their third-ranked defense against the Ravens second, and for fans of defensive football, it didn't disappoint. The Bears have yet to give up a rushing touchdown this season, and that streak continued. The only touchdown of the game was scored in the first quarter when FB Marc Edwards caught a 9 yard pass from Orton.

Pittsburgh Steelers 27 at Cincinnati Bengals 13
This was a game that definitely didn't live up to the hype. Are the Bengals for real? Well, we're not really sure. They have yet to beat a quality team, their two losses coming against Jacksonville and Pittsburgh. Bengals QB Carson Palmer looked simply average against the tough Steelers defense, and the return of QB Ben Roethlisberger helped the Steelers immensely, as he threw two touchdowns. The Steelers controlled the ball for most of the game, putting up 17 unanswered points in the third quarter which essentially won the game.

Kansas City Chiefs 30 at Miami Dolphins 20
The Chiefs beat a hurricane, and then they beat the Dolphins in the Friday night game. Miami's injured secondary was no match for Trent Green and the passing game, as he threw for nearly 300 yards. Priest Holmes found paydirt twice, and Larry Johnson found it once to give Kansas City all of their touchdowns. Miami managed to obtain a touchdown late in the game, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Chiefs, who seem to be back to playing defense again.

Detroit Lions 13 at Cleveland Browns 10
He just came back - to win the game. QB Jeff Garcia returned to Cleveland - the place of one of the seasons he'd love to forget - and helped the Lions to a much needed win. Garcia had a one yard touchdown run for Detroit's only touchdown of the game, but it was enough. He did what he needed to do, didn't turn the ball over and danced around to avoid being sacked. Cleveland will continue to attempt to rebuild, but the loss to the Lions hurts.

New Orleans Saints 17 at St. Louis Rams 28
For the second week in a row, the St. Louis Rams were without head coach Mike Martz as they will be for the rest of the season - only this time there was a different result. The Saints took an early 14 point lead, and looked to be in control of the game, until the fourth quarter where the Rams put up an unanswered 21 points to steal the game out from under New Orleans.
