As the Detroit Lions get ready to face the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday and with a short week afterwards, the team is hoping several key players will become healthy.

Detroit, who has always run into bad luck as far as injuries go, has a growing list of injuries every week, and those injuries are to many of their marquee players.

The list goes as follows:

-Dre' Bly, who had surgery on his dislocated wrist weeks ago, hopes to be back for the Thanksgiving day game against Atlanta.

-Mike Williams is recovering from a sprained ankle and may be available for the Dallas game.

-Teddy Lehman is questionable due to a sprained foot.

-Earl Holmes may miss a week, but should be back for the Atlanta game after spraining his medial collateral ligament.

-Boss Bailey suffered a sprained ankle last Sunday but should be ok for Dallas.

-Roy Williams will play against Dallas but will certainly feel lingering effects of a quad strain

-Jeff Garcia is still not his old self as he seems discouraged about the lack of improvement on his leg. He will most likely be out again this week. That means Harrington gets the nod.

The Detroit Lions can afford to lose a couple of starters. However, they are not the best team to begin with, so they need as much help as they can get.
