Every Friday during the NFL season, RealFootball365.com senior writer Anthony Carroll brings you his weekly "bottom line" predictions. This is the fifth installment of 2007.

This week's bye teams are the Bengals, Vikings, Raiders and Eagles.

Cleveland Browns (2-2) at New England Patriots (4-0)

Randy Moss is on pace to haul in 124 passes for 2,020 yards and 28 touchdowns this year; oh, and the Pats are at home. Patriots delay Browns' hopeful plans, 31-13.

Carolina Panthers (2-2) at New Orleans Saints (0-3)

If there's one game the Saints must and should win, it's this one. Saints come off bye week, beat David Carr-led Panthers, 21-17.

Jacksonville Jaguars (2-1) at Kansas City Chiefs (2-2)

The stingy Jags are coming off a week of rest, while the Chiefs' Damon Huard is coming off perhaps the luckiest passing touchdown of his 11-year career (the one to Tony Gonzalez). Jags slow down Chiefs on the road, 20-10.

New York Jets (1-3) at New York Giants (2-2)

Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora had six sacks last week; the entire Jets team has half of that in four games. Rejuvenated Giants win third straight, 30-16.

Miami Dolphins (0-4) at Houston Texans (2-2)

Linebacker Joey Porter should stop guaranteeing wins, and start guaranteeing that his team can at least hold its opponents to under 200 yards rushing. Texans run, run and run again in win over Miami, 24-14.

Seattle Seahawks (3-1) at Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1)

Both teams' losses this season have come from meetings with Arizona on the road. I'll take the team at home in this close game: Steelers 23, Seahawks 20.

Detroit Lions (3-1) at Washington Redskins (2-1)

Sure, the Lions score 28.5 points per game, but they also give up 30.3; that'll eventually catch up with them. Rested Redskins move to 3-1, win 27-24.

Atlanta Falcons (1-3) at Tennessee Titans (2-1)

If quarterback Joey Harrington can look that good two games in a row and the Falcons still have only won one, there's something severely wrong in Atlanta. Vince Young, Titans impress home crowd, 28-16.

Arizona Cardinals (2-2) at St. Louis Rams (0-4)

Will Rams backup Gus Frerotte be able to take down both Matt Leinart and Kurt Warner? No: Cardinals win 27-16.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-1) at Indianapolis Colts (4-0)

The only thing hotter than Tampa Bay's defense right now is the Colts' offense ... always. Bucs valiantly fight, but lose on the road, 30-17.

Baltimore Ravens (2-2) at San Francisco 49ers (2-2)

With an average of just 213 offensive yards each game, San Francisco's lucky to have two wins this season. Trent Dilfer loses in first start since Nov. 27, 2005, 19-13.

San Diego Chargers (1-3) at Denver Broncos (2-2)

The only thing worse than playing LaDainian Tomlinson is playing a hot LaDainian Tomlinson; plus, Travis Henry's banged up and tested positive for marijuana on the opposite side. Bolts make the AFC West a bit more even, beat Broncos 24-14.

Chicago Bears (1-3) at Green Bay Packers (4-0)

At this point, the Bears can only win with a Brett Favre-like quarterback; unfortunately, they're playing the real thing on Sunday night. Packers roll to fifth victory, 30-9.

Dallas Cowboys (4-0) at Buffalo Bills (1-3)

The Cowboys average a league-leading 37.8 points per game, while the Bills' 'D' gives up a league-worst 282.5 passing yards an outing. Bills rookie QB Trent Edwards suffers first NFL loss on Monday night, 35-13.

Season Breakdown

Last week's record: 8-6
Last week's closest predicted score: Tampa Bay 19, Carolina 14 (Actual: 20-7)

Best week: Week 1, 10-5
Worst week: Week 4, 8-6

SEASON RECORD: 38-23 (62.3% correct)
