Every Friday during the 2007 NFL regular season, RealFootball365.com senior writer Anthony Carroll brings you his weekly "bottom line" predictions. This is the ninth installment of the year.

This week's bye teams are the Bears, Dolphins, Giants and Rams.

Cincinnati Bengals (2-5) at Buffalo Bills (3-4)

Two of the Bills' three wins this season have come against the 1-7 New York Jets. The Jets' offense can make any defense look good. Cincinnati's offense proves too much for Buffalo's 'D', 28-10.

Denver Broncos (3-4) at Detroit Lions (5-2)

Jason Elam kicked another big one last week to keep his team in the game. Unfortunately, Denver can only win when an Elam kick ends the game. Detroit 31, Denver 23.

Green Bay Packers (6-1) at Kansas City Chiefs (4-3)

Fun fact that nobody remembers: Kansas City was somehow in the playoffs for 60 minutes last season. Another fun fact: It won't happen again in 2007. Packers retain best record in NFC, win 27-16.

San Diego Chargers (4-3) at Minnesota Vikings (2-5)

San Diego has now won three straight contests after starting the season 1-3, and Minnesota looks to be just a small speed bump in the Chargers' playoff run. Tomlinson & Co. travel to Minnesota, win 34-20.

Jacksonville Jaguars (5-2) at New Orleans Saints (3-4)

If the Jags can beat the Bucs on the road with Quinn Gray, I'm convinced they can down the red-hot Saints with Gray, too. Jacksonville interrupts Saints' three-game win streak, 21-17.

Arizona Cardinals (3-4) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-4)

Tampa Bay has lost three of its last four games, and, on the opposite sideline, Arizona QB Kurt Warner is coming off a much-needed bye week. Rested Cardinals even up record, win 28-23.

Carolina Panthers (4-3) at Tennessee Titans (5-2)

Not only can the Titans run the ball (third in the NFL), but they can stop the run (first overall). What more can you ask for? Titans top the QB-juggling Panthers, 20-10.

San Francisco 49ers (2-5) at Atlanta Falcons (1-6)

In perhaps the game of the century, I like the pass-happy Falcons. And, if it means anything more, Atlanta wideout Roddy White is on pace for 75 catches and 1,211 yards this season. Roddy and Atlanta outscore NFL's worst offense, 19-10.

Washington Redskins (4-3) at New York Jets (1-7)

If Jets fans believe Kellen Clemens is the answer to the problem, they'd better re-evaluate what the real problem is. The booing in New York continues; Redskins win 30-16.

Seattle Seahawks (4-3) at Cleveland Browns (4-3)

Brady Quinn who? Starting Browns quarterback Derek Anderson is 3-1 in front of his home crowd. Make it 4-1: Browns 24, Seahawks 19.

New England Patriots (8-0) at Indianapolis Colts (7-0)

I've heard so many analysts break down this game over the past seven days, I don't even want to hear myself. Colts 38, Patriots 31.

Houston Texans (3-5) at Oakland Raiders (2-5)

Almost better than Brady vs. Manning is Rosenfels vs. McCown. I want to say Oakland here, but the Raiders always find a way to shoot themselves in the foot. Texans 24, Raiders 19.

Dallas Cowboys (6-1) at Philadelphia Eagles (3-4)

The Cowboys and Eagles both have top-10 offenses and defenses this season, but Dallas is a just a few rungs better in both major categories. Cowboys win one on the road, 28-23.

Baltimore Ravens (4-3) at Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2)

The Steelers very quietly field the best 'D' in the NFL, and Baltimore is no offensive powerhouse. Pittsburgh fends off AFC North foe, 26-13.

Season Breakdown

Last week's record: 10-3
Last week's closest predicted score: Philadelphia 20, Minnesota 16 (Actual: 23-16)

Best week: Week 5, 12-2
Worst week: Week 6, 6-7

SEASON RECORD: 75-40 (65.2% correct)
