Word around the NFL is that former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Peter Boulware will stage a workout to show off his skills. Coming off knee and toe surgery, Boulware is poised to show that he can still play at the highest level in the NFL. His workout is rumored to be taking place within the next two or three weeks, before the NFL moves into training camp mode.

Peter Boulware is a four time Pro-Bowler and a member of the Baltimore Ravens 00'-01' Super Bowl squad. He was released by the Ravens in May after he and the team could not come to terms on a suitable contract. The speedy linebacker only visited a handful of NFL teams in the past few weeks; the Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns, and Seattle Seahawks. However, it is rumored that up to 14 teams may be interested in his services.

Boulware spent the 04' season on the physically unable to perform list after sustaining a serious knee injury at the end of the 03' season that required surgery. He then suffered a toe injury while working out this past November. This latest injury also required surgery. If he can get healthy, the 30-year-old Boulware can be an elite NFL linebacker especially when it comes to pass rush duties. Boulware has tallied 67 1/2 sacks in 111 NFL games.
