After being declared ineligible by the NCAA, Michigan State wide receiver Agim Shabaj has decided to enter this year's NFL supplemental draft. Shabaj has been declared ineligible because of academic issues. Under Big Ten rules, players declared ineligible have their scholarships taken away.

Because of these Big Ten rules, Agim Shabaj has basically been forced to move on to the NFL. The 5'10'' and 190 pound receiver and kick returner will hold a workout for NFL teams tomorrow. Shabaj was an impressive player for the Spartans and was the team's top receiver in 03' snatching up 57 catches for 692 yards and five touchdowns. His numbers dipped last year, but he was poised to have a big senior season.

Now Shabaj will be forced into an early NFL entry, because he came up short in the classroom.
