The Buffalo Bills have a lot to be happy about after defeating the Indianapolis Colts 17 to 10 in their preseason matchup.

The Bills' starting unit looked very polished early on, taking a 17-3 lead over the Colts into halftime. After a shaky first possession, J.P. Losman lit up the Indianapolis secondary. He ended up completing 11 of 19 passes for 88 yards and a touchdown. The Buffalo Bills also had a big special teams play early on. Second year DT Lauvale Sapes blocked a punt and recovered the ball in the end zone for a touchdown.

The Indianapolis Colts did not really even field their starting offense for this game. Peyton Manning played in only one series and threw only one pass. Edgerrin James did not carry the ball at all and the starting receivers played sparingly. The Colts defense snagged a few interceptions but none of them came against J.P. Losman.
