The Minnesota Vikings have traveled to the east coast to face the New York Jets tonight at 8PM. This is a match up between two teams that have Super Bowl sized expectations. The game will be televised on ABC.

New York Jets quarterback Chad Pennington is set to see his first game action since last year's playoffs. He is still recovering from off-season shoulder surgery. Expect him to look a little bit rusty this evening. The Jets are expected to play their starting units the entire first half. However, it remains to be seen if newly acquired CB Ty Law will see any playing time this evening. He is still rehabbing a severe foot injury.

The Minnesota Vikings might have to hold out rookie wide out Troy Williamson. He has been hampered by an ankle injury for several weeks now. The Minnesota Vikings offense looks to continue moving the ball the way they did last week, and the defense is looking to improve their execution and work in newly acquired players like Sam Cowart. Unfortunately, another new addition, CB Fred Smoot, is out with a knee injury. It is unclear exactly how long the Minnesota Vikings starting units will play.
