Communications: Public Relations

Job Description: Directs and coordinates the "off the field" publicity for the organization, which includes community events, business developments, game related news alerts and general human interest features. Develops and creates story angles and feature ideas. Continuous building of a media data base in order to become more efficient in selecting targets. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with a variety of people. Must maintain consistent communication with many departments, including Community Relations, 49ers Foundation, Sales and Marketing and Stadium Operations. Must be highly organized and possess good communication skills. Building relationships with the media is an important element of the job. Requires a BA (or equivalent work experience) and at least 4 years experience.
