San Francisco 49ers quarterback J.T. O'Sullivan couldn't capitalize on a Saints secondary that had been horrible going into Week 4; as a result, he looked very much like the journeyman he is during a 31-17 loss in New Orleans. O'Sullivan threw for 257 yards and a touchdown, but he took six sacks, tossed two end-zone interceptions and had a fumble.

Commentary: O'Sullivan played well during the opening three weeks of the season, but maybe folks jumped on his bandwagon too early. If he continues making poor decisions and amassing negative plays, O'Sullivan probably won't be long for the starting QB position in San Francisco.

Fan Pulse: Fans are divided about what caused O'Sullivan to come unglued in Week 4: http://forums.49ers.com/messageboard/showthread.php?t=58823.

Fantasy Football Impact:
O' Sullivan looked like a good pickup and start versus the Saints. Let's go ahead and temper those expectations, shall we? Sit O'Sullivan and use him only if your best QB has a bye week. O'Sullivan will get you 10 points or so a game but is not the playmaker many had said he was becoming.

Injury Watch: Wide receiver Bryant Johnson was limited Sunday with a hurt hamstring but should be back against the Patriots this week.
