To quote LL Cool J, "Don't call it a comeback," because the Eagles' 40-26 victory over San Francisco last weekend was more of a colossal collapse for the 49ers. The Niners has a cushy lead, 26-17, before allowing 23 unanswered points to Philly and a lot of it was thanks to quarterback J.T. O'Sullivan, who continues looking like the journeyman he is.

O'Sullivan's inability to hold nine-point lead could be chalked up to a case of nerves, but that won't pass the litmus test in the NFL. His 199-yard performance against the Eagles was excusable for a player who hasn't appeared in many NFL games, but his two interceptions and fumble killed a team that had all the momentum in the world. You have to wonder how many more games O'Sullivan can suffer through before there are talks of a new solution.

The loss represents the inexperience of a relatively young club that has found itself in many tight games this season. Congrats on the effort, 49ers. Now you get to face a very ticked-off Giants team in Week 7. Good luck.

Fan Pulse: 49ers fans love alliteration and think O'Sullivan's main problem is that "he makes mistakes when it matters most." http://www.49erswebzone.com/forum/thread.php?num=109956

Fantasy Football Commentary:
Remember the good old days two weeks ago when O'Sullivan represented a solid 10 points a week? If you started him last week in standard formats, you got four points; as a result, you likely lost. Avoid O'Sullivan in any role except a bye-week plug-in until he gets on track.

Injury Watch:
Fullback Zak Keasey left Sunday's game with an arm injury and didn't return. There is no word on his status, but we will keep you posted.
