The 3-7 San Francisco 49ers face the Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins in their next four matchups, which is not exactly something to smile about for interim head coach Mike Singletary.

Commentary: The upcoming quintet of opponents is a combined 24-16; the worst of the bunch, 5-5 Buffalo, will be a tough game for the Niners to win because it's a road contest that includes a cross-country trek. No West Coast team has traveled East this year and emerged victorious during a 1 p.m. game. It's realistic to think that the 49ers won't get another win until they see St. Louis again. That would put the 49ers at 4-11 before they face the Washington Redskins.

Fan Pulse: Did 49ers offensive coordinator Mike Martz save his job? It's the question on the minds of Niners fans right now.

Fantasy Football Commentary: Maybe Shaun Hill isn't such a bad pickup after all. Hill scored the second-most fantasy points for a QB in Week 11 and is worth a look on your bench. Still, he played against the Rams. He isn't the second coming of Joe Montana.

Injury Watch:
Safety Mark Roman played Sunday with a groin injury and recorded four tackles.
