I admit I had alot of ideas I want to write in my latest article, but with so many jumbling in my head I can't figure out which one to post first. Then last night before I went to bed, I heard on the news that Michael Crabtree couldn't come to an agreement with the 49ers, and is willing to sit out the entire season, and reenter the draft next year. What that in mind, I realize that's what I'll put in my next article. How can a man drafted in the top 10 in the NFL draft be a selfish jerk for not wanting to play on the team that once upon a time was a big threat to win the super bowl?

Michael and his agent aren't happy with the offer that the 49ers made, and is willing to sit out. Well Michael here's my question to you; If you weren't ready to play for the NFL, then why the hell did you forgo your final year at Texas Tech to jump to the NFL? You're the one who left the Red Raiders for greener pasture pal not me. I'm sorry your broken foot kept you from having a workout that could've have made you a number 1 draft pick; but beening that it was the Lions, you would have pull a ruby and said "Detroit's too cold for me, I wanna play in a warmer climate." Well hell son, San Francisco is about as warm as you can get without playing in Hell, or in Iraq, or Death Valley, you get the picture.

Can you imagine If ham and eggers(Love you Bobby Hennan) like you and me have an agent, and try to pull the same stunt as bunch of crybabies like some athletes do in sports? Take my real job Delivering Pizza: "Yes my client does make the min wage and tips, but since he's risking his life and does help clean up after closing my client deserves a $14 an hr, including mileage." Plant worker: "I know your starting salary is $9 an hr, but with all the dangerous equipment that my client has to work, as well as the environment, I feel that my client deserves at least $16 an hr, this isn't a third world sweatshop you know." Teachers: "Since my client has to work with bratty kids that don't wanna work, plus lack of help from the school board, my client deserves more than $25,000 a yr."

Now the last statement, we should be ashamed of ourselves for not paying teachers more to educate, and discipline our children when needed. In a country as rich as ours, teachers deserves double the amount their paid a year. As far as the first two: My boss would laugh his head off and say "Take the min wage plus tips, or go elsewhere." At the plant, HR would laugh in your face and say "There's people who needs work, I can call them up in a heartbeat, and they'll take it. I think the problem to sum up is this; Michael Crabtree hasn't proved himself to make more than Matthew Stafford, or Mark Sanchez being the first two to sign the dotted line before the other 1st round signed the contract. Now Eli Manning got a 6 yr and 98 million dollar contract ext. and will be playing for the NY Giants till 2015. Now that guy earned that pay raise, I didn't like the way he whined and cried when he got picked by the Chargers(That's for another time), but he proved himself to the Giants, and he deserved that pay raise.

No one deserves a 100 million dollars salary until they can prove themselves if they are good in the NFL as they were in college. If I was Michael Crabtree, I would sign the dotted line, get my butt to training camp, and prove to Coach Singletary and the 49ers staff they didn't waste a draft pick. This ain't the MLB draft where If you got drafted as a senior in high school, or underclassmen in college if you don't like your draft pick, or destination, you can reenter the draft at a later time. Since it's the NFL, you're sending a message that you don't like where you're at, and the other 31 teams would look at you and say "Why should we draft a drama king who doesn't wanna sign with the 49ers because the money not right." People like me would kill for a shot at playing for the 49ers for a million dollars a yr, and I'll be happy with that.
