San Francisco won their home opener over Denver 17-16 without the help of Michael Crabtree who has yet to sign the contract. The only that was hairy in the game was the three interception that Kyle Orton threw in helping the 49ers to win the game makes you wonder If he hadn't made those interceptions, Denver would have won for sure.

Now I know the old saying goes "Preseason doesn't count!" Well in this case it does because the player that still is missing from the 49ers is Michael Crabtree, and he wants the top 5 money. Sorry Michael, but that's not going to happen; I don't know what the 49ers is offer you, but looking at the pay scale of the first round fraft so far, your pay scale falls somewhere between 23million to 29 million dollars. Now that's not too shaby for a guy that got picked 10th overall in the 2009 draft.

I'm sorry If your broken foot prevented you from going higher in the draft, but by not signing with the 49ers now, you've done alot of damage to yourself, the team, and the fans. First off you're hurting yourself by not attending training camp to learn the plays, and getting to know your coaches and team better. Your team is hurting because they can't evaluate a ghost, they don't know what kinda player you are If you're not there. Plus your teammates would be resentful to you by not showing up, and working our with them. Finally the 49ers fans are hurting; the 49ers has a enrich history of winning five super bowls with some of the greats including Joe Montana, Steve Young, and Jerry Rice. Right now the fans think that you're greedy and selfish, and don't care for the team. The more you sit out without signing a deal with the 49ers, the more the fans will hate you.

How many more games will Michael Crabtree miss? He already missed one, but if he's smarting up and fly right, he'll be in next week's game, but I really hope he don't act like a jerk and sit out for the entire 2009 NFL just so you can re-enter the draft next year because by then, there will be too many college kids better than you, and you'll be an afterthought.
