The San Francisco 49ers have chosen not to match a Detroit Lions' offer sheet signed by offensive lineman Kyle Kosier. He became expendable when the Niners signed free agent tackle Jonas Jennings last month.

The 6'5", 309 lbs. Kosier started all 16 games in 2004 at left tackle.

The former Arizona State Sun Devil began his professional career with San Francisco in 2002. He has played consistently at 3 positions on the offensive line the past 3 years, starting 29 of 47 games.
