49ers re-sign Saleem Rasheed, Steve Bush

The San Francisco 49ers came to terms with Saleem Rasheed. The linebacker signed a 1 year tender offer. The team also re-signed Steve Bush.

The 6'2", 229 lbs. Rasheed played 14 games in 2004 as a backup. He recorded 25 tackles, 2 pass deflections, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery. The Alabama product has been with the Niners since 2002. In his 3 year career, he has totalled 44 tackles, 1 sack, 3 pass breakups, and 2 forced fumbles in 36 games.

The 6'3", 267 lbs. Bush appeared in only 5 games last season for San Francisco, making 2 catches (1 for a touchdown). The former Arizona State Sun Devil has played for the Cincinnati Bengals (1997-2000) and the Arizona Cardinals (2001-2003) before coming to the Niners last season. Entering his ninth NFL season, Bush has registered 48 catches for 364 yards with 3 TDs.
