The San Francisco 49ers' front office has been shaken up after an in-house training film was distributed to the San Francisco Chronicle. The newspaper wrote a scathing review of the video and has made a censored version available at sfgate.com.

Team public relations director Kirk Reynolds was responsible for the production. The movie in question featured a variety of questionable subject matter. It was intended to teach players how to handle the media and diversity in San Francisco. The video was shown to players at training camp in August 2004.

Reynolds has apologized for the inappropriate material and is now seeking a position with another organization. The video has been repudiated by the team as well as the NFL as being contradictory to what the San Francisco 49ers stand for in their community.
