Ohio State Buckeyes defensive back Eugene Clifford was arraigned Monday on two counts of misdemeanor assault. The arraignment came after an incident on early Friday morning in Cincinnati, in which Russell was accused of punching two sports bar employees.

Commentary: Clifford has pleaded not guilty to both counts and was able to post the $2,000 bond. According to Ohio media reports, Russell struck two bar staff members who were attempting to break up a fight. Further, The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that, according to police, Russell also threatened to get a gun and shoot the employees. Clifford will get his chance in court July 29.
