LaCrosse High (LaCrosse, Kan.) athlete Marshall Musil gave his solid verbal to Oklahoma on Thursday for the ’09 class.

"Their pro-style offense will help me,” Musil said.

Currently projected as a tight end, the 6-foot-2, 220-pounder accrued 13 catches for 283 yards and racked up 87 rushing attempts for 745 yards and 17 touchdowns as a running back last season.

Musil, a Rivals three-star prospect, rejected offers from Colorado State, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Missouri, TCU and Tulsa. Kevin Wilson is credited as the primary.

COMMENTARY: Oklahoma’s 2009 class is currently at 15 commitments, all of whom are solidly to highly rated by Rivals. In all likelihood, the Sooner program will end up with another top-10 class.
