Sooners OT Loadholt arrested on charge of DUI

Oklahoma starting left tackle Phil Loadholt was arrested Saturday for drunken driving and an open container, The Oklahoman is reporting. This is the rising senior’s second arrest in a two-year span.

Sooner officials said they do not expect coach Bob Stoops to comment on the situation.

COMMENTARY: Stoops may not make a comment, but it will be interesting to see how the university handles the situation as more evidence becomes known. Reportedly, Loadholt is not expected to be kicked off the team.
