Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, Calif.) kicker Mike Bowlin gave his pledge to the Oregon Ducks on Friday for the 2009 class.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder reportedly was highly consistent at field goals last year inside 50 yards and has the leg to regularly boom it 55 yards and over. Although unranked, Rivals regards Bowlin as one of the nation’s top kickers.

COMMENTARY: Bowlin becomes the fifth overall commitment for coach Mike Bellotti’s class.
